Hello Houston (or below Houston Street), we have a problem : white progressivism is not what it says it is. I thank David G. for yet another tough column calling things out. I disagree with him on every other line, I don't know why he has to go out of his way to insult black people in every column (as if there weren't immensely obese white people scattered all over the landscape outside his frigging oh so precious Manhattan) but the politics of personal destruction as practiced by "liberal progressives" must be seen for what it is. I hasten to add that I am far from America, where sex has become an everyday weapon, yet another tool in Getting Ahead. Good luck to y'all !

You may have a point re my postings which may make unflattering comments about black people. I thought of writing an essay along the lines of what Norman Podhoretz wrote in 1963. He wrote an essay-- I think the title may have been "My Negro Problem" - in which he admitted that he harbored prejudices against black people and tried to uncover and explore the psychological factors that incited his antipathies. (many civil rights activists say we need to have an honest conversation about race) He largely said that his feelings were psychosexual, namely that he resented, and was intimidated by, and jealous of black macho. (The black radical Eldridge Cleaver said much the same thing in "Soul on Ice") Podhoretz did not say his prejudices were good or just. Nevertheless, he was pilloried in the press.

ALSO: I have a piece on substack, which almost no one read, which backs up black people, explains that much of neo conservative animosity toward blacks is based on a quantitative as opposed to a preferable qualitative analysis of oppression and pain and is, I think, a novel contribution. I apologize if this note is cryptic and unclear; I have motion papers due in Court and can't spend too much time expounding on this issue. Take Care.

ALSO: I forgot your website on substack and I forgot your e mail address. Please advise. Good to hear from you.
