I couldn’t have said it better myself. One by one, it seems like everyone is treading lightly, trying not to end up on the wrong side of Trump and his ever mutating political gravity. Even Paul Weiss, once a paragon of progressive virtue has opted for the moral flexibility of a yoga instructor at a Wall Street retreat; pathetic!

Schumer’s vote, ActBlue’s existential crisis, and the broader trend of liberal institutions crumbling under pressure? None of it surprises me. As you pointed out, too much of the socalled "progressive movement" has always been about aesthetics rather than actual conviction. It's all fun and games until power is on the line and Chuckie boy is no diff. Now suddenly, the resistance starts looking an awful lot like compliance with better PR.

And yes, Trump and his enforcers don’t play by the Marquess of Queensberry rules, while too many on our side still think a strongly worded letter is the height of political warfare. The MAGA machine operates like a crime syndicate, and yet, somehow, liberals still think bringing a white paper to a knife fight is a winning strategy. I think we need to call on AOC to channel her inner Bronx ghetto girl alter ego and bring it on!!! Now you know she can throw some hands if she wanted to...

Wake up and smell the arsenic people!!
