I will respond to the assertion you made at the outset of your essay. I didn't have time to read more than a quarter of your comment.

I wrote an article which agreed with your assertion that America is the most "racially progressive" nation on earth. This article was one of the very first posts I wrote on substack, it was authored on or around August 31, 2020.

In this article, I noted the following:

1) About a million white men (I don't remember the numbers, look at my article in substack), in the Union Army, died fighting the South. This war was fought to end slavery. People will argue that it was fought to keep the union alive, but the South seceded, essentially, for one reason: Their antipathy to the abolitionists and their fear of what a Lincoln presidency might auger visa vis slavery

2) I then surveyed oppression throughout a fair chuck of the world. In no other country had the majority group fought other members of the majority group because of oppression against a minority:

a) Brits did not fight other brits because they oppressed the Irish.

b) Frenchmen did not fight other Frenchmen because of the oppression of the Hugenausts

c) Spaniards did not fight other Spaniards because Spain oppressed the Basque minority

d) Italians did not fight other Italians because of oppression inflicted against Sicillians

e) Germans did not fight other Germans because of the oppression of the Jews

And then I cited about 30 examples in other nations and then concluded by saying I think you get my point,
