By David Gottfried First, I give you my poem entitled Fundamentalism: This poem surveys the behavior of the “fairer” sex. More specifically, this considers the haughty harridans and grande dames in the novels of Henry James and Edith Wharton: This poem was incited by fabulously wealthy and spoiled girls, from New York’s most affluent and supercilious suburbs, who were convinced that they were utterly oppressed and the second coming of Madame Curie, Betty Friedan, etc.
Fundamentalism – An ecumenical broadside against Christianity, Judaism and Islam
Love your poetry, David!
