This post offers my recitation of my poem, “English, English, Where Art Thou.”

I wrote this poem way back in the 1990’s, but the poem is just as relevant today, or perhaps even much more relevant, as the Left is increasingly diverted from its traditional and worthwhile goal of highlighting Class Conflict and is, instead, consumed with an obsession and desire to provoke Racial Conflict until it instigates a right-wing rassenkrieg (the “race war” extolled by Nazi Germany)

I do not reject the Left.  I still embrace hard left views regarding economics. (The essence of capitalism is this:  Taking a product worth 20 dollars and convincing some poor shnook to buy it from you for 50 dollars)  However, the Left has rejected me. 

Instead of emphasizing the need to help the oppressed, it simply screams, “Help the Blacks, the women, the Arabs.”   They seem to forget that not all blacks, etc. are oppressed people deserving of a greater piece of the pie and that not all white people are living it up on the Rivera.  Nevertheless, this single-minded obsession with identify politics has turned the left, leftist scholarship and left wing people into a grim and extraordinarily boring bunch of unimaginative, drippy pseudo intellectuals.
