A POETIC ESSAY ON THE MOOD OF THE COMPUTERIZED MILIEU
A POETIC ESSAY ON THE MOOD OF THE COMPUTERIZED MILIEU
BY
DAVID GOTTFRIED
The tyranny of binaric thought
The stilling of the nuanced voice
The menu selection that misses the point
That never gives me one true choice
The artless, ascendant, everywhere
With spider web sites choking air
The verbiage scrawled without care
Tone deaf, brain dead, not sincere
The logic not at all apparent
Is communicated by a robot’s larynx
Avoiding, with terror, all things tangent
The Reich was its perverted parent
